SDNP/18/04497/HOUS:132 High Street, Lewes.
Comment: Whilst we support this application, we consider it essential that the existing door fronting the High Street be retained in order to maintain the integrity of the front elevation within the Conservation Area.
SDNP/18/04653/LIS: 123A Malling Street, Lewes.
We OBJECT to this application as the replacement of timber windows by PVCu casement windows on a listed building should not be supported. Furthermore, the loss of the existing purpose made timber front door is to be regretted.
SDNP/18/04691/FUL: 53 Cluny Street, Lewes.
We OBJECT to this application as it would be very visible within the street scene and should be set back behind the house frontage and as such does not comply with the recommendations set out in the Friends of Lewes ‘Guiding Principles for the Design of Garden Rooms’.
