Join us

We now use an online membership system called Membermojo. You can join us by following this link.

Membermojo allows you to pay by credit or debit card, Paypal, BACS, cheque, and Standing Order. It also lets you manage your own membership details, eg change your email address.

Annual subscriptions are due on the anniversary of joining the Society.

Renewing your annual membership

Membermojo will remind you by email to renew your membership as the time approaches – just follow the link provided in the email. You can pay by credit or debit card, Paypal, BACS, cheque, and Standing Order.

If you have any queries, please email us at, or write to the Membership Secretary, at 1a The Lynchets, Lewes BN7 2BL.

We send out newsletters, and information on our talks and other local events to our members by email. Our newsletters and annual reports are archived on our website, and current paper copies are available at Lewes Library.

Just want to keep in touch?

If you are unsure about joining right now, but would like to be notified about upcoming events, please enter your email and click on the button under ‘Get News via Email’ on our website.

Donating to Friends of Lewes

We depend largely on our members’ subscriptions to carry out our work and welcome additional help from donations and legacies. Our members can make donations via Membermojo as part of the annual renewal process. Anyone, including members, can make a donation at any time by contacting our Treasurer via email. You can also help us by playing the Lewes District Local Lottery.
