A Zoom talk for Members
Vivien Yule – Wild birds in Sussex
Vivien will talk about the birds which we come across in Sussex. She has taken a lot of photos of birds, so will base her talk around some of these, using a similar format to her earlier very interesting talk on wild flowers in Lewes.
We look forward to a most interesting talk.
Christine Hall – Life at Breaky Bottom Vineyard
Breaky Bottom sits in a beautiful secluded fold in the Sussex Downs – wonderfully remote. Christine’s husband, Peter, planted the vineyard in 1974, seeing the potential offered by a climate similar to that of Champagne and the Loire.
Christine is a partner in the business and works alongside Peter and the team throughout the year. As well as supporting the work in the vineyard and winery, she shares her love of the countryside and the wildlife by hosting visits from local schools. She is also a well respected artist.
These talks are for members of the Friends of Lewes. If you would like to join FoL, and attend our talks, please find details on our Membership page. We send Zoom links to our members a few days before each talk, so please join in time! You can contact our Membership Secretary via email.
