Protecting Lewes’s Precious Groundwater – Friends of Lewes talk, Tuesday 18 January 2021, 7:20 for 7.30pm

A Zoom talk

Aimee Felus: Protecting our Precious Groundwater – The Aquifer Partnership (TAP)

TAP’s Programme Delivery Manager Aimee will tell us about their work to protect the aquifer which supplies Lewes with our drinking water, and will explain how we can all help with this.

One way in which we can do our bit is to create raingardens. Discover how we can embrace the rain, slow it down, and soak it in. We will be safeguarding our groundwater, helping wildlife to flourish, and also protecting against flooding in the process.
