Your questions answered about Lewes’ new recycling scheme and more

A new domestic mixed recycling collection service is set to be introduced across Lewes District in April, involving collection by Lewes District Council and processing by waste company Viridor.

Plastic Free Lewes hosts a panel discussion to explore what will be happening to our rubbish, what can be recycled, what can’t – and what else we can do to minimise what ends up in landfill or incineration. Includes an audience Q&A.

Panellists include:

Scot Reid – Head of Customer and Neighbourhood Services, Lewes District & Eastbourne Borough Councils
Simon Prior – Head of Local Authority Development, Viridor
Vic Ient – District Councillor for Kingston Ward (Ouse Valley West Villages) and Environmental spokesman for Lewes Liberal Democrats at the District Council
Katie Hawkes– Lewes District Green Party

Venue: Corn Exchange at Lewes Town Hall
