Friends of Lewes Christmas Tree Decoration Competition 2016 – Winners!

Recently Friends of Lewes organised an art competition which was open to all children and young people aged 4 to 18 who either live or go to school in Lewes. They were invited to design and make a Christmas Tree decoration using recycled materials.

The winners, who were each awarded a prize of £25, were: Freya Fitchett, age 16, from Priory School; Thomas Harland-Smith, age 11, from Priory School and Kate Chasseaud, age 16, from Varndean:

The entries were of such a high standard that we also decided to award two runners-up prizes of £5 to: Kitty O’Neil, 5, from Western Road Primary School and Felix Baines-Holmes, 11, from Lewes Old Grammar School:
